Projects

Climate Justice in Teacher Ed

As an initial step toward developing this cohort, two UBC Solution Scholars created an open-access resource hub to support climate justice education.

This project synthesizes theory, research, and practice into usable materials for educators, with the goal of sharing knowledge and supporting broader engagement in climate justice conversations.

Centering and Advancing Indigenous Climate Justice in Climate Education

Indigenous perspectives and traditional knowledge are central to Climate Justice Education and guide the Climate-Kind Pedagogy framework.

This project develops resources and interdisciplinary teaching opportunities to support faculty, expand Indigenous climate justice education, and contribute to broader goals of reconciliation and climate leadership.

Sustainability Ambassadors program

The UBC Sustainability Ambassadors Program empowers students to lead sustainability initiatives through experiential learning, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Join a dynamic community of changemakers to develop leadership skills, connect with sustainability professionals, and inspire meaningful environmental and social impact on campus.
